Caring For Your Jewellery
Your bespoke necklace is crafted from 925 sterling silver and is a quality piece of jewellery made to last when cared for appropriately. To ensure you maintain the beautiful colour and quality follow the below tips.
Jewellery is best stored in an airtight bag or container when not being worn to protect it from oxidisation.
To prevent chains getting caught and snapping avoid sleeping and dressing while wearing them.
To prevent tarnishing avoid bathing, swimming, exercising and spraying perfumes and chemicals directly onto jewellery.
Gold plated pieces will maintain their colour when worn occasionally and stored appropriately. Alternatively, if you wear them regularly the gold colour will eventually lighten in colour but will never turn a green or coppery colour due to the base metal being 925 sterling silver.
If jewellery tarnishes or becomes dull, clean with mild soapy water, rinse, pat dry and gently polish with a soft cloth. (do not vigorously rub gold plated items).
